To simulate the challenges ancient and some modern Africans encounter as they conduct daily tasks, the students participated in relay races. During the race, students went through progressively more difficult methods of bringing items to their home base. At the conclusion of the lesson, students answered questions comparing our current method of accomplishing daily tasks compared to those who live in a more traditional style.
